This summer, I had the awesome chance of making friends and making music with the fam at East Meets West – a bookstore turned art-music-technology space at 934 Mass Ave. It’s an amazing space with incredible people – Kongo, Scooter, Amanda, Iris, Gene, Sho, Xiao, Jeff. There is always a special event every week ranging from Open Art Lab, a music night, open mic and other funzies!
East Meets West also organizes an electronic music showcase of local performers and producers called East Meets Beats. Lots of groovy and original music that night! You can check out my part of the set through the video link below.
First part: Sushi beats and live finger drumming with the MIDI Fighter 3D
Second part: 3 new original songs – Trappy Soul, Hampshire House music and a dnb remix of What I’d Say by Ray Charles.
Enjoy!
